Well, Day Ten has arrived…
…and I’m SICK! ;_;
Okay. So I woke up about five o’clock this morning, and low and behold, I have a sore throat. I am pretty bummed. This seems to always happen to me. I will eat well and work out, and then BOOM, get sick. Well, I wanted to nip it in the bud and get over this thing fast!
I am loving this Bootcamp, however, here is another tip: If you aren’t used to working out six days a week with a day off and expect to make it to 30 days without a day off, I would recommend taking a day off a week, like Tracy Anderson’s normal routine calls for. So Day Seven should have been my day off, but I really wanted to stick to the Bootcamp. So now I am sick and paying for it. It really all depends on your constitution. I have had mono THREE times in my life with Chronic Fatigue off and on during that time, so I really need to watch it when I feel like I am getting sick so my immune system is not compromised. I think when the Bible says to rest one day a week, He means it!
So I have just been RESTING today, but I am taking lots of vitamins, Vitamin C packs, Coconut Water, and eating Tracy’s plan, which include:
Hard Boil Eggs
They fell apart a little bit. :) I ate one and a half.
Lots of Chicken Protein Soup
So comforting and healing!
Blackberries and Blueberries with Orange Juice on top
Score: 8/10. So good and I loved it for the Vitamin C.
Lots of Coconut Water!
I am starting to feel a lot better, and I hopefully will be able to hit it fairly strong tomorrow. My soar throat is getting a bit better, but my stomach has been an upset all day, so I might have just an all-around bit of a bug. My goal is to start Day 11 tomorrow, Sequence 2, at least the muscular structure work reps, but hopefully the cardio as well.
Isn’t it discouraging what life throws at us? I was willing to pretty much workout through ANYTHING (even the hospital), but I am not one of those people who when they work out when they’re sick they get better because they shock their immune systems. I really needed the day to recoupe. I still want to push myself strong, though, and I am glad I have stuck with her meal plan at least. I also think that I might be doing a detox, and that is why I am feeling so sick. My old self would say forget it at this point, but I have worked so hard and put so much into it, and I want to succeed SO much! <3
But now for the FUN part!
I took my measurements and Day TEN pictures (which I plan to post at the END) but here is what I have lost:
I am down another half pound!
Total Weight Loss in 10 days: 5.5 pounds! One more half pound, and I will be in a new weight decade! A weight decade is when you go from the 130′s to the 120′s, or the 100′s to the 90′s. It’s basically that part where you go to your lower (or sometimes higher, sadly) new weight range!
Here is what I lost!
Right Thigh: .5 inch
Left Thigh: .75 inch
Hips: .75 of an inch
Lower Abs: 1.25 inches!!
Waist: 1.5 inches!!
Upper Abs: .5 inch
Right Hip Pocket: .5 inch ?
Left Hip Pocket: .5 inch ?
Vertical Butt Length: .5 inch
Chest: No loss!
Arms: No loss!
Right Calf: .25 inch
Left Calf: .25 inch
I am really excited about my waist! Overall, I am very happy with these measurements for only doing this for ten days! I think I measured the Hip Pockets wrong the first time, but I figured it out this time. Day 20 should be a bit more accurate. It is supposed to be the hole where the bikini leg is. I was a bit bummed about my arms, but they look a little better. I measured at the largest part on my arms and thighs, because that’s the part I care the most about.
So I guess the tip of the day is LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!! If you need to take a break (within reason) do so. I will be for now on taking a break for sure after every six days like Tracy’s normal plan says to so I can keep going and make it to that DAY 30!! I will post Day 1, Day 10, Day 20, and Day 30 pics on Day 30!!
But I am sticking with it!! Pray I feel better tomorrow, please. :) I feel like I should be able to ease into the workout and do it tomorrow!
