I had gained back a full pound after eating half my extra bonus points on Monday, but by this morning, I was down -.6 pounds, so total weight loss is 2.6 pounds again. I hope I can get back down to -3 or even -4 by Friday. I am really liking Weight Watchers. It is nice to be able to live your life and make it as healthy as you want it. It can be a little neurotic at times, but it’s going well. I have definitely eaten way less than I was, and I am making much better choices and saving calories for what I REALLY feel like rather than just settling and mindlessly munching. Although the weightloss isn’t as big as it was doing purely Tracy Anderson Diet, I feel like I will be able to stick with this. If I can lose 4-5 pounds a month, that will be so exciting! I know I lost 12 the first month doing Tracy’s program, but I gained it all (plus a bit) so it wasn’t lasting for me.
I had really bad shin splints yesterday from all the power walking I did on Monday (I should have had better shoes) , and I wasn’t feeling very well, so I didn’t work out yesterday. Oddly, I have been really careful with Tracy Anderson Dance Cardio, which is notorious for shin splints, and I haven’t had any from her workouts. But today my shins were definitely better. As I was started my muscular structure workout, I got 40 reps of arms done, some freestyle ab dancing done, and halfway through my 30 reps of leg movements, I started getting super nauseous. I am still really nauseous. I am not sure why, either. I stopped my workout for the day because I felt emesis coming on. So I will be repeating Day 9 tomorrow.
I have also decided to only do 5 days a week of working out instead of 6, but hopefully getting up to 60 minutes of cardio instead of 30 or 40 minutes those days. I will be doing 2 days on, 1 day off, and repeat from there. At this point, 6 days a week is overwhelming, and I don’t seem to be quite hitting it like I had hoped. It actually ends up being a longer workout also doing it five days a week instead of 6.
On a fun side note, I saw Transformers 3 in 3D at an RPX theater, which is a smaller scale of IMAX but really nice sound and tall, leather seats. It was a little campy at parts, but it was fun going to a movie and getting your money’s worth. The cars in it were fantastic. I thought I wouldn’t like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but she was pretty likable and was very adorable in it. Well, she is GORGEOUS, but she was just so pretty to look at. I definitely like watching movies more for pretty girls than I do good looking guys. I am as straight as they come, but women are just so beautiful and elegant, and it gives me something to strive for more. My biggest girl-crush is definitely Emma Stone. She is just so much fun to watch, and it seems like she always brings herself into the role.

Now, I am usually not one to try diet pills. I don’t think they work and are a waste of money. HOWEVER, my mom read an article in First for Women magazine issue, and then I found it and bought it as well.
In the issue, Dr. Perricone, whom I love, spoke about capsicum, which is found in cayenne and chili peppers. Apparently, capsicum is able to rev up your internal core and this product helps you burn an extra 278-600 calories a day. It’s pretty amazing. It also helps insulin levels. It really speeds up your metabolism. *Needed disclaimer*: Make sure you talk to your doctor. : )

Ignite Maxx is good, too, because it has a special coating and time-release formula so it is SUPPOSED to not give you heartburn.
The one concern I have is about revving up one’s metabolism. Obviously, faster metabolisms mean more weight loss, but recent studies have shown having a slower metabolism means a longer life. Basically, your body isn’t burning itself up and wearing itself down. Even though more frequently speeds up your metabolism, eating less times a day helps your body not work so hard. But, at the current time, I think I need a bit of a rev in my body. Being overweight isn’t safe, either. I can slow down my metabolism LATER in life when I am thinner, hopefully. : )
It should come in 1-3 weeks. They are on back order because of the article, unfortunately. I am really excited about this product, though! It is natural and it seems safe. It does have caffeine, which can bother me, but we will see.

Sorry I have been MIA for a while…again. First off, I had to stop the Perricone Metabolic Miracle because I was going to be gone for most of the day for a few days in a row and I wasn’t able to make the meals (in the hospital while my sister got chemo). But I did lose three pounds in three days, which is totally impressive. I looked like I lost five, too. I totally recommend doing his cleanse if you can stomach the raw egg shakes and salmon for dinner all the time.
So I wasn’t feeling very well for a bit, then I got a really bad eye infection (no makeup or contacts for a few weeks:( bleh!) and NOW I am SICK for the past week. I had gone so long without being sick, and then the start of this year, this is my third time of being sick! I think it’s all the icky stress I have been under.
Anyway, I feel like I have been kind of half doing the work the last Sequence III. I am going to be starting Sequence IV once I get better. I actually wish I would have bought Hipcentric. I am more Omnicentric, I think, but I wanted to focus on my abs. Now I wish I would have focused more on my legs.
I have realized that I don’t think I am cut out for six days of her workout…yet. Time-wise and energy-wise, at least at the moment, I would like to build up to two hours a day, five days a week. That is ten hours a week of working out instead of six, so that is pretty good. I like the idea of doing two days on, one day off, and I think five days a week is pretty darn great! I really need to up the cardio.
I also have learned I seem to have no idea how to feed myself, so I am recommiting to Tracy’s way. I did lose 12 pounds in a month, which is pretty amazing. But I am throwing in Perricone Metabolic Miracle Days in there, too. I don’t think I want to do it straight again, but losing a pound (very healthfully) in a day is outstanding. Basically, bad, starchy carbs = The Devil, and I am learning that more and more every day. They just taste SO DARN YUMMY!!! <3

I am ALSO allowing myself three, and ONLY three cheats a week. Bootcamp was one thing being only 30 days, there was definitely an end in site. Once this is over with the 90 days, I don’t want to end because I have some definite weight to lose. So that is either three desserts; three meals; two meals and one dessert; you catch the drill. I feel like this is attainable for me.
So once I am back from feeling sick (hopefully later this week) I will be hitting it hard again with Sequence IV, though I feel like the first three sequences were a bit of a wash. :/
I also have decided to make it more interesting for myself with…REWARDS!!! I was going to do ten pounds, but I have decided to do eight. I have been working more lately, so I am having a bit of extra fun wiggle room with spending. : )
So for each eight pounds
- Head Kandy Hair Extensions: http://www.headkandy.com/documents/72_lister.php I decided on the 20-22 inch in Bunny Blonde since I can always cut them and layer them since I have pretty short hair.
- Miss Me Jeans. I could get them now, and I thought I would, but I want to be a good 16 pounds lighter at least so I can fit in a smaller size!! : D I love the wings so much on them!
- Brazilian Blowout Zero: I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding the Brazilian Blowout, but I plan to get the Zero done, which is supposed to have no formaldehyde. I think it would be fabulous for my hair. I have done so much damage to it, and this is supposed to really repair it, though it is extremely pricey.
- Instead of the Brazilian Blowout Zero, I may spring for this dress from PinupGirlClothing.com. They have such amazing dresses!!
And that is it for now as far as the rewards go. I am really motivated to get the hair extensions for sure, and I know health and looking good are good motivations, but presents also can be extra rewarding, too!!

So I weighed myself today…I was up three pounds. : ( BUT I think it would have been worse had I not been working out, and I think it would have been better had I worked out more. Oh, well! Hopefully Dr. Perricone’s plan will help me out.
Tracy MS Work: So I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sequence III for Metamorphosis Abcentric. I feel like it’s the best workout so far and that it REALLY works your arms much better than her previous two. I also enjoyed and could really feel the legs. After a while, I really couldn’t stand Sequence II, and Sequence III is just great!
Tracy Cardio: Cardio was much better than it has been, but I only did 30 minutes. Hopefully next time, I can get in 45 minutes. But the 30 minutes I did do were great.
Callanetics: Today I did the Quick 20 minute Legs workout, and it was HARD! Lots of tiny reps and good stretching!! I think I like it more than the Bun and Hips one, but I still like that one.
Dr. Perricone’s Metabolic Makeover Day 1 actually went well! To be honest, the shakes are hard to get down, though. I think I may add a **tiny** bit of brown sugar just because I tried it with Stevia for one of the shakes and I had to make it over because it was so fake tasting. I also wish I could cook the egg whites because it is very much a mind-over-matter attitude that you need to have to get over these shakes. Honestly, if I didn’t know raw egg whites were in it, I could drink it just fine.
So what is the Metabolic Makeover?
Take Dr. Perricone’s The Metabolic Formula supplements with each meal.
You make two shakes consisting of either the following:
- 6-8 ounces of raw, pasteurized egg whites (I like the Eggcology brand)
- I teaspoon of coconut oil
- Stevia (I am now using a little brown sugar)
- 1/3 cup of organic mixed berries (I use more)
- Organic Raw cacao powder
First off, I felt like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast when he sings, “When I was a lad, I ate four dozen eggs every morning to help me get large…” except it’s not helping me get large, it’s helping me shrink! : ) I also felt a little like Rocky.
For dinner, you make
- Salmon (Wild)
- Watercress salad with olive oil and lemon
- Two ounces of lentils
- One cup of steamed veggies
The supplements are fine, but the Niacin makes me a little itchy, which I think happens with that normally.

First off, I made WAY too much!! I think I overestimated how much egg whites to use. I could only drink half. This was the berry one.
This was the chocolate one. I am also allowed chia seeds for a snack (which is good for fiber and other good things) and I am still going to drink my coconut water for my workouts. I notice when I don’t, I get leg cramps due to lack of electrolytes. Dr. Perricone says to drink lots of green tea, but I forgot to do that today, so tomorrow I will for sure!
If you can find this Salmon at your Whole Foods, you should totally get it. It’s wild, already cooked (though I like to heat it) and I like to call “Hot Dog Salmon” because it tastes like a hot dog…seriously.
So…I forgot to do the broccoli. It hit me in the middle of the night. :/ Tomorrow I will for sure!! Also, this might sound super gross, but I used some organic ketchup on my Salmon. It REALLY does taste like a hot dog.
Also, the best news of the day: My sister’s chemo is totally working!!!!!!!! <3 The CT scan came back with shrinking tumors, so it’s great. Thanks for all your prayers!! <3
It was a great day! Liking the diet and the workout. Although it IS really hard to do the shakes. It does help, too, to add nutmeg or cinnamon, too, but just get over the slime, and you’ll be good.
